6-1 Bombers Win Over the Stallions

The Bombers defeated the Stallions 6-1 on Saturday.

The sixth inning proved productive with 5 runs for the Bombers. A double by Roman Trujillo, a walk by Zack Gray, and a triple by Trey Fulton all produced runs.

Caleb Wagner earned the win. He went six innings, giving up zero runs, three hits, and striking out four. Three relievers helped the Bombers close out the victory. Tyler Stolz threw one inning. Chad Worley took the loss for the Stallions. He pitched five innings, giving up one run, two hits, and striking out two.

Fulton led the Bombers with three hits in five at bats. The Bombers were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Philip Archer made the most plays with 14.

The Bombers head to Muhlenberg County tonight & are back home on Tuesday, June 6th when Owensboro comes to League Stadium on Rock-Paper-Scissors Night.
