6-2 Bombers Win Against The Oilers

On Rock-Paper-Scissors Night at League Stadium, the Bombers get the win…by runs, not by hand gestures.
Bryce Krizan walked three times as he led the Dubois County Bombers to a 6-2 victory over the Oilers on Tuesday.

Joey Antonopoulos earned the win for the Bombers. He pitched six innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out four, and walking one. Brandon Smith threw one and two-thirds innings, as three relievers helped the Bombers finish off the victory.

Eddie Rodriguez took the loss for the Oilers. He threw four and a third innings, allowing four runs, zero hits, and striking out four.

Trevor Ricker and Camdon Mercier each drove in one run to lead the Bombers.
The Oilers collected five hits. Chase Andrews and Cody Jackson each collected multiple hits for the Oilers. The Oilers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Andrews had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
The Bombers are now 4-0 and head to Owensboro Wednesday evening.
Next home game is Thursday, June 8th.  It will be a Thirsty Thursday matchup!
