Bombers Roll over Railroaders 13-5

The Bombers got on a roll and blasted their way to a  13-5 win over the Fulton Railroaders providing Coach Andy Lasher his 100th win as a Bombers coach.

The Railroaders scored first with a homerun in the first inning, scoring two runs.  But the Bombers took over in the third inning and didn’t look back, scoring 3 runs.  John McDonald homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs and Gavin Napier hit a solo homer.

Scoring four runs in the fourth inning, the Bombers offense was led by Nick Gonzales, Nolan Ramsey, and McDonald, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Jack Anderson was credited with the victory for Dubois County Bombers. He allowed 11 hits and five runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. The Bombers had 6 homeruns during the game with McDonald hitting 3 homers while Ramsey, Napier & Craig contributed one each.  Fulton tallied three homers on the day.
