In a season where comebacks were the rule, the Bombers opened the playoffs by returning to a familiar script last night, rallying for a hard-fought 7-5 victory over the Henderson Flash. The game was the first of a best-of-three series in the first round of the Ohio Valley League playoffs.
It was not a promising start, but then that is the way with comebacks. Henderson scored three unearned runs in the first inning. Bomber starting pitcher Jack Anderson deserved a better fate.
